  :  J'ai découvert par hasard cette artiste en faisant l'acquisition hier d'un obscur EP enregistré sur une tournée australienne "Bad Dreams", de Lyrics Born, son mari, à qui elle prête souvent sa voix, et qui le lui rend bien ici avec sa production. Elle y intervient sur à peu près tout les titres et un à part entière Sweet Angels.

Je ne connais pas trop Lyrics Born, le but étant de mettre un son sur un nom, donc je ne m'attarderai pas dessus, mais cet il n'est pas désagréable à écouter

Elle : philippine, égérie du label Quannum, lui-même hôte de DJ Shadow, Blackalicious et Lyrics Born (excusez du peu) et donc plus tourné vers l'abstract hip hop. Elle, de son coté, intervient au chant et développe des styles de chants très variés sur des instrus hip hop, R&B, soul et reggae.

Sa voix : elle a travaillé le chant lyrique en Italie dans sa jeunesse,  ça se sent immédiatement dans son attaque de voix et son timbre très clair. Si elle s'adapte très bien à tous les styles, elle a tendance toujours à pousser sa voix, parfois un peu trop à mon goût.

La mixtape, très variée avec quelques covers, lui permet de montrer toute l'étendue de son talent. A découvrir pour les amateurs de voix, dont je fais partie. On ne s'attardera pas trop sur les paroles, qui font très bluettes.

: I discovered this artist buying yesterday a limited edition EP named "Bad Dreams" of abstract hip hop famous artist Lyrics Born Tom Shimura, her husband. She regularly sings on his releases and he returns her well with his production. One track here where she has the first role : "Sweet Dreams" who gave me the idea to go further.

I don't really know well Lyrics Born, the aim here was to link name with music, and the try worth it, but I think it is an anecdote in his discography.

She is Phillipina, the woman of Quannum, which hosts DJ Shadow, Blackalicious and Lyrics Born and is mainly oriented to abstract hip hop. She sings on many productions from it and in many genres : hip hop, R&B, soul and reggae.

She learned lyrical singing in her youth : you can feel it immediately in her striking up and very clear timbre. If she does adapt well to all styles and has an attractive style, she tends to push the volume high, sometimes maybe a bit too much to my taste.

Mixtape "Hey Love!" is very ecletic with a few covers, allowing her to show all her talent. To discover for voices addicts as I am. Lyrics are classics of the genre, it's not the interest here.
